Toulon–Bastia: what our readings show
On the Toulon–Bastia route, our readings of 17 August 2026 cover departures from August 2026 through to the middle of 2027, across the four traveller profiles we track. Toulon is one of the ports recorded heading to Bastia, alongside Savona, Livorno, Nice, Piombino, Sète, Marseille and Genoa. Every price quoted keeps the observed minimum separate from the average of observations: the two readings do not always point to the same month, or the same day of the week.
A single company on the route
Every crossing observed between Toulon and Bastia is sold by Corsica Ferries. No comparison between companies is therefore possible here, and no shared-ship gap can be read: the price depends on the departure date and the chosen package, not on the seller. For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the crossing starts at €30.00 and averages €39.58 across the whole window. According to Corsica Ferries, the service is daily, mostly overnight — about 11 to 12 hours — with a few daytime crossings of about 10 hours.
November 2026 at the trough, August 2026 at the peak
For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, November 2026 forms the trough of the averages, at €34.68 for a minimum of €32.00, recorded on 13 November 2026. September 2026 follows immediately, at €38.05 on average, dropping as far as €30.00 on 29 September 2026. December 2026 comes out at €38.34 for a floor of €33.00 on 5 December 2026, and October 2026 at €37.41.
October 2026 nonetheless carries the best price of the whole window, €31.90, recorded on 22 October 2026. Across the months of 2027, February and March sit at the same level, €38.93 and €38.77 on average, for a shared floor of €37.00; January 2027 climbs to €40.61 for a minimum of €37.00. August 2026 carries the highest monthly average, €41.93, while its minimum for the month drops to €32.00, recorded on 25 August 2026. The trough of the averages and the best single date therefore do not fall in the same month: the lowest average is in November 2026, the lowest price in October.
