On Toulon–Propriano, our readings of 14 September 2026 list only one company, Corsica Ferries, present on all four packages we track. Coverage runs from September to December 2026. According to Corsica Ferries, the crossing runs overnight: evening departure, arrival early the next morning, with boarding 30 minutes before departure on foot and one hour before with a vehicle.
The peak in September 2026, the floor in November 2026
For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the monthly average falls without interruption across the whole window: €45.00 in September 2026, €37.91 in October 2026, €36.50 in November 2026, then €36.50 in November 2026. The cheapest month on average does not, however, hold the lowest fare of the window: that fare, €28.00, reads on Monday 21 September 2026, in September 2026 — the month that actually carries the highest average. December 2026, for its part, never drops below €39.00, recorded on 17 December 2026. The lowest average and the lowest price therefore do not fall in the same month.
The three car-and-cabin packages share the December 2026 floor with the foot passenger, and its highest average in January 2027: €160.00 on average for one adult with a car and a cabin, €192.00 for two adults and €249.50 for two adults and two children, against €126.00, €155.50 and €211.75 respectively in December 2026. In between, October and November sit very close on the three car packages: €145.25 then €126.00 for one adult, €176.38 then €155.50 for two adults, €230.63 then €211.75 for two adults and two children — while the foot passenger's average falls without a bump from one month to the next.
On these three car packages, the lowest fare of the whole window doesn't always sit in the cheapest average month either. For one adult it reads €80.00, on Monday 21 September 2026 — in September, as for the foot passenger. Same story for two adults, at €106.00, on the same day. The two-adults-two-children package breaks the pattern: its floor, €191.00, falls on Thursday 19 November 2026, in December — the only one of the four profiles where the cheapest average month also holds the window's lowest single fare.
Tuesday for the foot passenger, Saturday with a car
The cheapest departure day is not the same on foot and with a vehicle on this route. The foot passenger in a reclining seat holds the best average on Tuesday, at €36.33, just ahead of Thursday at €37.67 and Saturday at €41.15; then come Tuesday at €36.33, Sunday at €45.75, and Sunday closes the week at €45.75. No Wednesday departure appears in the readings for this window, on any of the four profiles.
With a car and a cabin, the low point shifts to Saturday — €135.44 for one adult, €166.11 for two adults, €218.22 for two adults and two children — and Saturday stays the second-cheapest day on all three packages, at €130.50, €162.50 and €235.50. The top of the week diverges by package, though: Sunday is the dearest day for a lone adult and for two adults, at €170.50 and €199.00, while for two adults and two children it is Monday that closes the week, at €252.50, ahead of a cheaper Sunday at €252.50.
The cheapest dates
The lowest foot fare of the window, €28.00, reads on Monday 21 September 2026. Next come Tuesday 20 October 2026 at €31.00, then Thursday 12 November 2026 at €33.00. Two departures then meet at €34.00 — Tuesday 13 October 2026 and Thursday 15 October 2026 —, then two more at €37.00, Thursday 19 November 2026 and Thursday 5 November 2026, before Sunday 25 October 2026, which closes the list at €37.00. Thursday recurs five times across these eight departures; Friday, the cheapest day on average, appears only once, at the top of the list.
The three car packages draw largely on the same pool of cheap departures: six of the eight dates recur across all three lists, in an order that varies. For one adult as for two adults, Monday 21 September 2026 opens the ranking — €80.00 for one adult, €106.00 for two adults —, followed by Thursday 17 December 2026 at €109.00 and €141.00. For two adults and two children the order changes: the 21 September departure doesn't even make the eight cheapest, and it is Thursday 19 November 2026 that leads instead, at €191.00. The three lists each close on their own date, at €131.00, €167.00 and €222.00.
For a round trip on foot, the best pair recorded matches a departure from Toulon at €28.00 on 21 September 2026 with a return from Propriano at €38.00 on 14 October 2026, both with Corsica Ferries, for €66.00 in total.
Leaving from another port for Propriano
Toulon remains the cheapest mainland port on the entry fare for Propriano, from €28.00 with Corsica Ferries for a departure on 21 September 2026. Nice follows, from €38.00 with Corsica Ferries for a departure on 15 September 2026, and Marseille closes the ranking, from €54.61 with Corsica Linea for a departure on 30 September 2026.
On averages, the first two do not swap. Toulon also holds the lowest level, €40.01, ahead of Nice at €38.00 — minimum and average coincide there, on a single recorded departure —; Marseille stays last, at €57.36. Here the port with the best entry fare is also the one holding the best overall level. Marseille is also the only one of the three served by Corsica Linea: changing port can mean changing company here.
Our readings cover September to December 2026, with no earlier or later departure on this route. Corsica Ferries is the only company recorded there: no gap between companies can be measured, and the price turns on the departure date and on the package chosen.
