Bastia–Toulon: what our readings show
On the Bastia–Toulon route, our readings of 17 August 2026 cover departures spread from August 2026 through to the middle of 2027. Every price quoted separates the lowest observed fare from the average of the observations: the two readings do not always point to the same month, nor to the same day of the week.
A single company on the route
Every crossing observed between Bastia and Toulon is sold by Corsica Ferries. No comparison between companies is possible here, and there is no codeshare gap to read: the price turns on the departure date and on the package chosen, not on the seller. For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, the crossing starts from €29.20 and settles at €41.07 on average across the whole window. The company advertises a daily departure, in roughly 11 to 12 hours by night and roughly 10 hours by day.
August 2026 at the peak, November 2026 at the floor
For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, August 2026 carries the highest monthly average, €65.51, and its minimum for the month drops only to €44.00, the level of the winter 2027 floors. November 2026 forms the trough of the averages, at €34.89 for a minimum of €30.90. October 2026 follows at €38.72 and carries the best price of the whole window, €29.20, recorded on 22 October 2026. September 2026 settles at €42.50 for a minimum of €32.60, December 2026 at €38.76 for a minimum of €32.00. In 2027 the average falls month after month: €40.58 in January, €39.57 in February, €38.39 in March, those three months sharing exactly the same floor, €38.00. August 2026 therefore weighs on only one of the two readings: it carries the highest average of the window, but its floor stays at the winter level, while autumn 2026 goes markedly lower.

Leaving from another port for Toulon
Bastia is not the lowest entry point among the Corsican ports recorded towards Toulon. L'Île-Rousse opens below all the others, from €26.60 for a departure on 18 September 2026, but settles at €54.81 on average, the second-to-last level of the five ports recorded. Ajaccio opens just above, at €28.00 on 4 December 2026, and holds the lowest average instead, €39.14. Bastia comes next, from €29.20 — on 22 October 2026 — for €41.07 on average. Propriano starts higher, at €31.00, and still stays below L'Île-Rousse on average, at €42.85. Porto-Vecchio stands apart on both counts, €42.00 at the minimum and €65.00 on average. The ranking by floor and the ranking by average therefore do not coincide: the port that opens lowest is only fourth across all the dates observed. All these departures are run by Corsica Ferries.
