Bastia–Toulon: what our readings show
On the Bastia–Toulon route, our readings of 14 September 2026 cover departures spread from September 2026 to the middle of 2027. Every price quoted separates the minimum observed from the average of the observations: the two readings do not always point to the same month, nor to the same day of the week.
A single company on the route
Every crossing observed between Bastia and Toulon is sold by Corsica Ferries. No comparison between companies is possible here, and there is no codeshare gap to read: the price depends on the departure date and the package chosen, not on the seller. For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, the crossing starts from €22.86 and settles at €42.76 on average across the whole window. The company advertises one departure a day, in about 11 to 12 hours by night and about 10 hours by day.
September 2026 at the peak, November 2026 at the trough
For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, September 2026 carries the highest monthly average, €53.80, and its minimum for the month only goes down to €35.00, barely under the January 2027 floor of €25.26. November 2026 forms the trough of the averages, at €36.29 for a minimum of €22.86. October 2026 settles at €44.65 and carries the best price of the whole window, €32.60, recorded on 19 October 2026. December 2026 settles at €40.08 for a minimum of €25.26. Through 2027 the average falls month by month: €39.40 in January, €39.50 in February, €38.45 in March, those three months sharing exactly the same floor. September 2026 therefore weighs on only one of the two readings: it carries the highest average of the window, but its floor stays at the level of the 2027 months, while autumn 2026 goes markedly lower.
Tuesday rather than Saturday
On the foot passenger profile, Tuesday is the cheapest day on average, at €40.75, ahead of Thursday at €41.83 and Monday at €42.12. Wednesday sits at €41.64, Sunday at €43.50, Friday at €44.12, and Saturday brings up the rear at €45.38. The weekly spread bears no comparison with the monthly spread.
Tuesday keeps that rank as soon as a vehicle enters the package: €148.88 on average for one adult with a car and a cabin, €180.70 for two adults, €229.94 with two children. Monday follows a hair behind every time, at €155.57, €188.78 and €237.94. Saturday stays the dearest day throughout, at €174.48, €210.55 and €262.89.
Car and cabin: November 2026 at its lowest, September 2026 at the peak
With a vehicle, September 2026 stays the heaviest month, as it does for the foot passenger. For one adult, a car and a cabin, November 2026 is the cheapest month on average, at €130.39 for a minimum of €92.00, ahead of March 2027 at €140.32 and February 2027 at €141.21. September 2026 leads the monthly averages at €226.40, ahead of every other month recorded. Across the whole window, this profile comes out at €160.65 on average for a floor of €91.00, recorded on Tuesday 22 September 2026.
For two adults with a car and a cabin, November 2026 also holds the lowest monthly average, €160.07 for a minimum of €111.52, while September 2026 climbs to €268.73. The overall average settles at €194.29 for a floor of €111.52, recorded on Saturday 14 November 2026. For two adults, two children, a car and a cabin, November 2026 stays in front at €206.81 on average for a minimum of €146.06, while September 2026 reaches €327.53. The whole window gives €244.28 on average for this profile, with a floor of €146.06, recorded on Saturday 14 November 2026.
The cheapest dates
For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, Saturday 21 November 2026 alone carries the best price of the window, €22.86. Three days follow at €22.86: Saturday 28 November 2026, Saturday 14 November 2026 and Saturday 7 November 2026. Then come Sunday 13 December 2026 at €25.26 and Wednesday 6 January 2027 at €25.26. Saturday 9 January 2027, at €26.26, and Monday 19 October 2026, at €32.60, close the list. October 2026 alone places six dates in that ranking, November 2026 the other two.
On the motorised packages the calendar shifts as a block: Tuesday 22 September 2026 opens all three rankings at once, at €91.00 for one adult with a car and a cabin, €111.52 for two adults and €146.06 with two children — a date the foot passenger ranking does not hold. Behind it the runners-up diverge: Tuesday 24 November 2026 at €92.00 for one adult, Saturday 28 November 2026 at €112.52 for two adults, Saturday 28 November 2026 at €147.06 with two children. Group size no longer moves the best departure, only the second one.
Leaving from another port for Toulon
Bastia is not the lowest entry point among the Corsican ports recorded for Toulon. Ajaccio opens below all the others, from €29.00 for a departure on 10 December 2026, and also holds the lowest average, €41.76. L'Île-Rousse follows on the floor, at €26.60 on 18 September 2026, but its average, €40.10, leaves it last of the five ports recorded. Bastia comes next, from €22.86 — on 28 November 2026 — for €42.76 on average. Propriano starts higher, at €30.00, and still stays below L'Île-Rousse on the average, at €41.48. Porto-Vecchio opens highest of all, €39.40, but its average matches that floor, €39.40, which puts it second on that reading. The ranking by floor and the ranking by average therefore do not coincide: the port that opens highest is second across all the dates observed. All these departures are operated by Corsica Ferries.
