Bastia–Marseille: what our readings show
On Bastia–Marseille, our readings of 22 August 2026 cover departures from August 2026 to January 2027, and the four travel profiles we track.
A single company on the route
Corsica Linea is the only company recorded on the Bastia–Marseille route. No comparison between companies is possible here: for a foot passenger with a reclining seat, the crossing starts from €55.50 and settles at €66.97 on average across the window, and both those figures are its own. The price lever lies in the month, the day and the port of departure.
August 2026 at the peak, January 2027 at the floor
For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, August 2026 dominates the window with €126.30 on average. In September and October 2026 it comes back down, to €75.90 then €60.82. In November and December 2026, as in January 2027, the crossing stays at €56.50 — three months where the recorded average is strictly equal to the minimum, with no dispersion at all.
August 2026 nonetheless combines both extremes: the highest average of the window and the lowest price recorded on this profile, €94.50 on Wednesday 31 August 2026, below the €56.50 floor held by November, December 2026 and January 2027. The month that is dearest on average therefore holds the cheapest crossing of the whole window.
The cheapest dates
Wednesday 31 August 2026 carries the best price of the window, €94.50. All the following dates in the ranking sit at €56.50: Tuesday 29 September, Wednesday 2 December, Thursday 3 December, Tuesday 8 December and Sunday 27 December 2026, then Tuesday 5 January and Friday 8 January 2027. All are sold by Corsica Linea. On the foot passenger profile, the best return trip recorded pairs a departure on 6 September 2026 at €55.50 with a return on 28 September 2026 at €46.37, or €94.87 for the two legs.
Tuesday rather than Saturday
For the foot passenger with a reclining seat, Wednesday shows the lowest daily average, €64.30, and Saturday the highest, €78.29. Wednesday, at €63.25, and Thursday, at €64.90, stay close to Tuesday; Friday comes out at €66.50, Monday at €66.30 and Sunday at €68.60. The car and cabin profile moves the low point to the end of the week: for one adult, the lowest average falls on Sunday, at €213.79, while Monday remains the dearest day, at €212.37. Same picture for two adults, from €264.64 on Sunday to €267.04 on Monday, and for two adults and two children, from €336.74 to €342.04.
Car and cabin: a sharper August 2026 peak
With a vehicle, the gap between the top and the bottom of the window widens markedly. For one adult with a car and a cabin, the average tops out at €589.68 in August 2026 before falling back to €137.12 in November 2026. For two adults, it moves from €683.18 in August 2026 to €180.62 in November 2026. For two adults and two children, from €799.90 to €245.62. The lowest price on each profile repeats across many autumn and winter dates: €136.54 for one adult with a car and a cabin, recorded as early as 15 October 2026, €180.04 for two adults, €245.04 for the family of four. Across the whole window, these profiles settle at €205.77, €255.87 and €326.78 on average.
