Bastia–Livorno: what our readings show

Corsica Ferries dominates, one exception at Moby Lines
On the packages with a car and a cabin, our readings cover Corsica Ferries only: no other company appears over the window observed. For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, the crossing starts from €25.20 and comes out at €42.91 on average with Corsica Ferries; Moby Lines also appears on this profile, from €40.94 and at €42.94 on average. The price turns above all on the sailing date and on the package.
The peak in August 2027, the trough in November 2026
For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, August 2027 carries the highest monthly average of the window, €50.73, for a minimum that month of €40.00. The trough falls in November 2026, at €35.30 on average and from €31.50; December 2026 climbs back to €40.34 on average for a minimum of €35.00. Yet it is outside November that the lowest observation of the whole window is found: €25.20, recorded on Friday 25 September 2026. September 2026 therefore holds the floor without holding the lowest average: the month comes out at €36.60, and October 2026 at €43.55 for a minimum of €31.00. After the turn of the year the averages tighten: €40.96 in January 2027, €39.10 in February and €39.09 in March, the minimum holding at €38.00 in January as in March, and at €39.00 in February. Spring 2027 goes back above that, €42.20 on average in April then €46.39 in May; June 2027 marks a short pause at €44.43, before summer pushes higher, €47.90 in July then €50.73 in August 2027, the last month of the window. No winter month comes back down to the level of November 2026.
Tuesday in front, Saturday well above
On the reclining-seat profile, Tuesday carries the lowest average, €40.28, ahead of Monday at €40.88 and Wednesday at €40.95. Thursday settles at €42.32, Friday at €44.61 and Sunday at €44.81; Saturday brings up the rear at €49.90, well above the rest. With a vehicle the low point shifts by one day: for one adult with a car and a cabin, €129.90 on Monday against €164.90 on Saturday; for two adults, €161.82 on Monday against €205.55 on Saturday; for two adults and two children, €210.10 on Monday against €262.16 on Saturday. Sunday stays in the upper half on these three packages, just behind Saturday and ahead of Friday, at €146.13, €182.53 and €235.66.

August 2027 is the heaviest, at €165.37 on average for a minimum of €135.00; July 2027 follows at €159.00, then May 2027 at €147.77. September 2026, at €134.41, sits in the middle of the table, while its minimum, €101.00, counts among the lowest of the window. The floor of the whole window, €100.00, falls on Saturday 2 January 2027. From January to March 2027 the average edges down, from €131.70 to the March step, the minimum moving from €100.00 in January to €130.00 in February, then €124.00 in March. Spring 2027 goes back above that, €135.80 in April and €147.77 in May; June 2027 pulls back to €139.63 before the summer climb. Across the whole period, this profile comes out at €139.53 on average for a floor of €100.00.

The cheapest dates
For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, the best price of the window goes to Friday 25 September 2026, at €25.20. Sunday 20 September 2026 follows at €27.40, then Sunday 18 October 2026 at €31.00. Two dates then stand at the same level, €31.50: Saturday 24 October 2026 and Sunday 1 November 2026. Thursday 12 November 2026 at €31.80, Saturday 10 October 2026 at €32.00 and Friday 18 September 2026 at €32.50 close the list. Sunday comes back three times in this list even though it is not the cheapest day on average: €44.81, against €40.28 on Tuesday.
On the motorised packages, the best date is not shared by every composition. For one adult with a car and a cabin, Saturday 2 January 2027 opens at €100.00, ahead of Friday 25 September 2026 at €101.00 and Thursday 10 December 2026 at €104.00; two dates then stand at the same price, €106.00: Thursday 5 November 2026 and Monday 30 November 2026. For two adults as for the family, the best price moves to Friday 25 September 2026: €122.00 for two adults and €158.00 for two adults and two children, ahead of Saturday 2 January 2027, at €129.00 and €176.00 respectively. On the reclining-seat profile, the best return trip recorded pairs a departure on 25 September 2026 at €25.20 with a return on 17 October 2026 at €30.00, or €55.20 for the two legs, with Corsica Ferries in both directions.
On deck, Corsica Ferries at the floor on every composition
On the Bastia–Livorno route, the deck fare — no cabin, no reserved reclining seat — joins the reclining-seat and car+cabin profiles tracked above. For one adult foot passenger on deck, the floor of our readings is €16.26, with Corsica Ferries, read on two departures, Monday 21 December 2026 and Wednesday 23 December 2026. Friday 25 September 2026 follows at €21.00, then three dates stand at the same price, €26.00: Sunday 20 September 2026, Saturday 10 October 2026 and Tuesday 27 October 2026; Monday 12 October 2026 and Sunday 1 November 2026, at €28.00, close the list. March 2027 carries the lowest deck average of the window, €30.96, for a minimum of €30.00; February 2027 follows at €31.00, minimum and average alike; August 2027 is its priciest month, at €41.29 on average, ahead of July 2027 at €38.32. September 2026 stands at €35.18, even though its minimum, €21.00, only yields to the December 2026 floor. The deck fare on this route does not come down to the same number of companies on every composition. Cors'Express appears in our readings on the deck compositions only: it is there on all four of them, and on no other package on this page. For one adult foot passenger on deck, two companies show up: Corsica Ferries stays the cheapest, from €16.26 (€34.70 on average), ahead of Cors'Express, recorded from €39.99 for €39.99 on average. For two adult foot passengers on deck, a third company slots in: €32.52 with Corsica Ferries (€68.74 on average), €60.88 with Moby Lines (€65.48 on average) and €79.98 with Cors'Express (€79.98 on average) — the averages of the first two sit close together, while their floors are far apart. With one child, all three companies stay in the running: for two adults and one child, €35.03 with Corsica Ferries (€93.68 on average), €93.32 with Moby Lines (€93.32 on average) and €99.98 with Cors'Express (€99.98 on average). With two children, only two are left: for two adults and two children, €68.00 with Corsica Ferries (€114.52 on average) against €119.98 with Cors'Express (€119.98 on average). On the two compositions with two companies, the cheapest at the floor is also the cheapest on average. On the two compositions with three companies, the lead changes with the reading: at the floor, Corsica Ferries leads, but on average Moby Lines moves ahead, at €65.48 against €68.74 with Corsica Ferries; the same switch for two adults and one child, €93.32 with Moby Lines against €93.68 with Corsica Ferries.
After the turn of the year, the deck fare settles: January 2027 comes out at €32.09 on average for a minimum of €29.00, February 2027 at €31.00 on average for a minimum of €31.00, and March 2027 at €30.96 on average for a minimum of €30.00. Spring 2027 climbs back to €33.07 on average in April and €37.03 in May, June 2027 coming back to €35.10 before summer rises to €38.32 in July and €41.29 in August 2027, the last month of the window. Autumn 2026 stays more restless: €35.54 on average in October (minimum €26.00), €33.55 in November (minimum €28.00) and €32.08 in December (minimum €16.26).
Cors'Express runs a daytime crossing, fast, with no cabin on board: a product distinct from the reclining-seat and car+cabin packages recorded above, which themselves also run at night in high season. According to Corsica Ferries, the crossing takes about 4 hours, with up to three departures a day, in the very early morning or early afternoon; boarding is 30 minutes before departure on foot, 1 hour with a vehicle. Cors'Express states around 2 hours 15 minutes of crossing, on a calendar that varies by season, with foot boarding only, at least 1 hour 30 minutes before departure; animals under 8 kg are admitted in a closed cage or basket, to be declared at booking. Our figures cover only the observed foot-passenger deck fare, never a price displayed directly by the company. The deck fare is therefore never compared to the reclining seat or the cabin: three distinct installations, at distinct price levels.
What these readings cover
Our data covers departures from September to December 2026, then from January to August 2027. Livorno appears in our readings only from Bastia: no other Corsican port serves this destination over the window observed. The best reclining-seat price of the whole period, €25.20, is read on Friday 25 September 2026, while August 2027 carries the highest reclining-seat average of the window, at €50.73.
