Marseille–Bastia: what our readings show

A single company on the route
Corsica Linea is the only company recorded between Marseille and Bastia. No codeshare is observed here: the useful comparison is not between companies, but between months, days of the week and departure ports. With a car and a cabin, its average is €162.86 for one adult and €207.23 for two. According to Corsica Linea, the route is operated overnight, with one departure a day all year round in each direction; the boarding time appears on the ticket and is repeated by text message before departure.
September 2026 at the peak, January 2027 at the floor
For the foot passenger with a reclining seat, September 2026 dominates the window: €64.72 on average. The curve then deflates. October 2026 holds €61.47 on average, then November 2026 (€55.37) and December 2026 (€55.37) settle at the same level. January 2027 closes the window on that same plateau: €55.37, minimum and average alike — over that month, the recorded fare does not move.
The dearest month on average is also the one carrying the floor. September 2026 climbs to €64.72 on average and yet falls to €53.37 on 29 September 2026 — the lowest price recorded on the route. Everywhere else, the floor never drops below €55.37: from October 2026 to January 2027, that same entry fare repeats month after month, and it is the average, not the floor, that sets October apart from the rest. The lowest price is therefore not found in the cheapest months on average, but on a handful of late-September 2026 dates.

Wednesday rather than Saturday
On the foot-passenger fare, Tuesday is the cheapest day recorded, at €55.61 on average, followed by Tuesday (€55.61) and Monday (€61.02). Friday (€59.37), Thursday (€58.19) and Sunday (€60.77) follow closely; Monday brings up the rear at €61.02. Saturday also leads on the motorised packages: €150.30 on average for one adult with a car and a cabin, against €177.77 on Friday, the dearest day for that package. The same day leads for two adults (€194.91) as for two adults and two children (€259.41).
Leaving from another port for Bastia
Marseille shows both the highest entry price and the highest average of all the departure ports recorded for Bastia: €53.37 at the floor with Corsica Linea, €58.48 on average. On the entry price, Savona opens the ranking at €23.26, for a departure on 21 December 2026, ahead of Nice at €26.10 and Livorno at €26.26, for a departure on 7 November 2026. Then come Toulon at €29.10, followed by Genoa at €40.75 and Sète at €41.00. Corsica Ferries signs the entry price for five of these seven ports; the exceptions are Genoa, where it goes to Moby Lines, and Marseille, held by Corsica Linea. Piombino no longer appears in this ranking: as of this reading, no departure for Bastia is recorded there.
On average, the ranking plays out again. Nice takes the lead at €38.32, closely followed by Toulon (€41.39) and Livorno (€42.83). Sète follows at €41.00, as both minimum and average, ahead of Savona (€48.42), which nonetheless held the lowest entry price. Genoa comes next at €47.64 and Marseille brings up the rear, far behind at €58.48. The first five sit within a hair's breadth of each other on average, while they spread far wider on the entry price: on this destination, the floor sorts the ports, the average gathers them.
What these readings cover
These prices are one-way fares, expressed as the basket total for the package. A foot-passenger return trip assembled from two departures recorded comes to €102.87: €53.37 outbound on 29 September 2026 and €56.50 back on 5 October 2026, with Corsica Linea in both directions. The departures still recorded run from September 2026 to January 2027; beyond that, no date appears on this route to date.
