Marseille–Porto-Vecchio: what our readings show

The entry fare of the window belongs to the foot passenger in a reclining seat: €35.78 one way. That fare does not land on an isolated date but recurs across six recorded departures, all bunched in September 2026 — it is the floor of the route, not a one-off.
A single company on the route
La Méridionale is the only company recorded sailing direct between Marseille and Porto-Vecchio. No codeshare is observed here. Its averages across all dates run from €51.84 for the foot passenger in a reclining seat to €259.92 for two adults and two children with a car and a cabin, by way of €155.22 for one motorised adult and €197.42 for two. According to the company, the route runs overnight, with check-in required 1 hr before departure on foot and 1 hr 30 with a vehicle.
The peak in April 2027, the floor in September 2026
For the foot passenger in a reclining seat, the window opens on its dearest month: September 2026 shows €60.75 on average, and never drops below €35.78. The break comes the very next month: October 2026 becomes the cheapest month of the window, at €44.91 on average and from €35.78. November 2026 (€49.78), December 2026 (€49.78) and January 2027 (€51.20) stay bunched just above, November and January sharing exactly the same average.
The minimums tighten the picture further. October 2026 falls to €46.78, on a departure of 21 October 2026; September 2026 stops at €35.78, while November 2026, December 2026 and January 2027 all three settle at €49.78, average included for November and January. On this profile, the tail of summer and the late season are not played on the same scale.
Wednesday rather than Friday
Our readings only carry Monday, Wednesday and Friday departures on this route; the other days are not comparable. Among those three, Wednesday is the cheapest for the foot passenger in a reclining seat, at €49.94 on average, ahead of Monday (€51.10) and Friday (€54.51). The same order returns, with wider gaps, on the three motorised packages: for one adult with a car and a cabin, €145.95 on Wednesday against €154.14 on Monday and €165.57 on Friday; for two adults, €186.46, €195.81 and €210.00; for two adults and two children, €247.05, €257.59 and €275.13. Across the four profiles tracked, Friday is therefore always the dearest of the three days served.

Leaving from another port for Porto-Vecchio
Marseille is no longer the entry-level mainland port for Porto-Vecchio. Nice starts at €44.33 with Corsica Ferries, on a departure of 22 September 2026, and also holds the lowest average, €44.33 — a figure identical to its floor: every foot-passenger departure recorded from Nice comes out at the same fare. Marseille follows at €35.78 with La Méridionale, on a departure of 23 September 2026, for €51.84 on average: it is the only one of the three ports whose price moves from one date to another. Toulon brings up the rear on the entry fare as on the average, €45.00 with Corsica Ferries for a departure on 18 September 2026, its average likewise matching that floor. Both metrics point to the same port here, and it is not Marseille.
What these readings cover
These prices are one-way fares, expressed as the basket total for the make-up, and aggregated as a minimum ("from") as well as an average ("on average") — two distinct figures. A foot-passenger return trip assembled from two departures actually recorded comes to €80.40: €35.78 outbound on 23 September 2026 and €44.62 back on 10 October 2026, with La Méridionale in both directions.
