Marseille–Propriano: what our readings show
Our readings of 22 August 2026 cover departures from August to December 2026, then dates in January 2027. For a foot passenger with a reclining seat, August 2026 is the dearest month of the window: €62.61 on average, while its floor drops to €47.61. In September 2026 the average falls back to €58.45, then the fare freezes: €58.92 in October, November and December 2026, and €56.61 again in January 2027 — the same amount repeated across four months, minimum and average alike.
A single company on the route
Corsica Linea is the only company recorded between Marseille and Propriano. No shared vessel is observed here: the comparison is not between companies, but between the departure port, the month and the day. Its averages across all dates run from €58.16 for the foot passenger with a reclining seat to €148.63 for one adult with a car and a cabin, €193.06 for two adults and €268.54 for two adults and two children. According to Corsica Linea, the crossing runs overnight, at three departures a week, in a reclining seat or a private cabin.
August 2026 at the peak, a plateau at €58.92 from October 2026 to January 2027
The seasonal gap widens with the package. For one adult with a car and a cabin, the average moves from €198.48 in August 2026 to €124.62 in January 2027. For two adults with a car and a cabin, it runs from €245.52 to €168.23. For two adults and two children, from €314.45 in August 2026 to €244.45 in January 2027. The descent is gradual: September 2026 still holds at €168.15 for one adult with a car and a cabin, October 2026 at €141.77, before November 2026, where the average meets the floor at €124.62, a level January 2027 returns to.
August 2026 blurs that reading, however. Its foot-passenger average, €62.61, is the highest of the window, but its floor drops to €47.61, below the off-season plateau of €58.92. The same swing applies to the motorised packages: the August 2026 minimum falls to €113.62 for one adult with a car and a cabin, against €124.62 in January 2027, and to €150.23 for two adults against €168.23. The month that is dearest on average therefore also carries the cheapest one-off crossings of the window.
Thursday rather than Sunday
The day of departure weighs heavily on this route. For the foot passenger with a reclining seat, the average drops to €55.61 on Thursday, against €59.61 on Saturday and €59.11 on Sunday. Tuesday (€52.61) and Wednesday (€55.26) hold the middle ground, ahead of Monday (€57.41) and Friday (€62.51). With a car and a cabin for one adult, Thursday comes out at €171.62 on average against €198.62 on Saturday. For two adults and two children with a car and a cabin, Thursday shows €276.78 while Saturday reaches €308.45. Across the four packages recorded, Sunday is always the dearest day; Thursday is the cheapest everywhere except with a car and a cabin for one adult, where Wednesday edges ahead at €130.57.
The cheapest dates
The cheapest foot-passenger crossings are concentrated almost entirely in the second half of August 2026. Five departures are recorded there at €47.61 with Corsica Linea: Thursday 27 August 2026, Wednesday 30 September 2026, Sunday 23 August 2026, Monday 28 September 2026 and Wednesday 26 August 2026 — two Wednesdays, two Thursdays and a Sunday. Monday 21 September 2026 follows at €47.61. The only two dates outside August in this series are at €47.61: Wednesday 23 September 2026 and Wednesday 9 September 2026. On the two adults, two children, car and cabin package, the floor of the window is likewise in August: €213.45 on Sunday 23 August 2026, Wednesday 23 September 2026, Wednesday 30 September 2026 and Monday 21 September 2026, with Monday 28 September 2026 following at €213.45.
Leaving from another port for Propriano
Marseille is not the cheapest mainland port recorded for reaching Propriano. From Marseille, Corsica Linea starts at €47.61 for a foot passenger with a reclining seat, with €58.16 on average. From Toulon, Corsica Ferries starts at €31.00, the entry fare recorded on a departure of 13 October 2026, with €39.58 on average. From Nice, the same company starts at €36.00, on a departure of 15 September 2026, for €64.00 on average. Toulon is the cheapest departure point recorded for Propriano, at the floor as on average; Nice sits between Toulon and Marseille on both readings.
What these readings cover
These prices are one-way fares, expressed as the basket total for the make-up. A foot-passenger return trip assembled from two departures actually recorded comes to €98.25: €47.61 outbound on 23 August 2026 and €57.64 back on 9 September 2026, with Corsica Linea in both directions. The opposite direction, Propriano–Marseille, is the subject of separate readings. No departure later than January 2027 is recorded on this route to date.
