Propriano–Marseille: what our readings show
On the Propriano–Marseille route, a single company appears in our readings taken on 9 August 2026: Corsica Linea. For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, every fare recorded comes from that company, with an average of €71.89 across all the dates. According to Corsica Linea, the crossing runs overnight, three times a week, in a reclining seat or a private cabin; the check-in time is printed on the ticket and sent by text message before departure. La Méridionale does not appear out of Propriano in this data: it turns up only out of Porto-Vecchio and Ajaccio, covered further down.
August 2026 at the peak, low plateau from November 2026 to January 2027
For the foot passenger in a reclining seat, the recorded window runs from August 2026 to January 2027. August 2026 holds the peak, at €118.94 on average, against a monthly floor of €66.64. September 2026 comes back down to €74.11 on average, October 2026 to €65.78, then November 2026, December 2026 and January 2027 post the same figure at the minimum as on average: €57.64. That is the low plateau of the window, with no spread, reached by the end of autumn and carried through to January 2027.
With a car and a cabin, the same shape repeats at higher levels and over a much wider range. For one adult with a car and a cabin, August 2026 rises to a €403.98 average, while its minimum falls to €188.85; October 2026 comes back to €166.85, November 2026 and January 2027 hold the floor at €126.85, minimum and average alike. In between, September 2026 works out to €265.22 and December 2026 to €133.28.
For two adults, the range runs from €489.62 in August 2026 to €171.49 in January 2027, with November 2026 sitting at the same floor level; September 2026 works out to €320.38 on average for a minimum of €197.49, October 2026 to €216.85 and December 2026 to €177.92. For two adults and two children with a car and a cabin, the August 2026 peak is €607.27 on average and the January 2027 floor €249.77, with €396.77 in September 2026, €294.56 in October 2026 and €256.20 in December 2026.
Tuesday for foot passengers, Tuesday with a car
Wednesday stands out as the cheapest day for the foot passenger in a reclining seat, €85.97 on average, ahead of Tuesday (€64.14) and Thursday (€64.54); Monday is the most expensive, €95.14, followed by Sunday (€99.39) and Friday (€87.64).
The ranking shifts as soon as a car enters the package. For one adult with a car and a cabin, Tuesday is the lowest day, €161.45 on average, Thursday just behind at €162.11, while Monday becomes the most expensive, €329.85. For two adults, the same hierarchy: €211.04 on Tuesday and €209.44 on Thursday, against €400.49 on Monday. For two adults and two children, the two days swap: the trough holds on Thursday (€287.61) ahead of Tuesday (€276.77), with Monday closing the ranking at €481.77. Wednesday, the cheapest day on foot, is on the contrary among the dearest with a vehicle: €286.52 for one adult. The "best day" is therefore not the same depending on whether you board on foot or with a car.
The cheapest dates
For the foot passenger in a reclining seat, the eight cheapest dates of the window all come out at the same price, €57.64: Tuesday 13 October 2026, Thursday 3 December 2026, Tuesday 29 December 2026, Tuesday 8 December 2026, Saturday 19 December 2026, Saturday 9 January 2027, Thursday 15 October 2026 and Thursday 29 October 2026. Past September 2026, it is the value that most of the crossings recorded fall back on through to January 2027: from then on, the departure date no longer moves the entry fare.
With a car and a cabin, the same plateau forms at higher levels. For one adult, the eight cheapest dates all come out at €126.85; the first three are Thursday 17 December 2026, Thursday 10 December 2026 and Tuesday 13 October 2026. For two adults, they hold €171.49, starting with Saturday 21 November 2026, Saturday 2 January 2027 and Saturday 5 December 2026. For two adults and two children, the floor is €249.77, recorded among others on Saturday 14 November 2026, Tuesday 8 December 2026 and Thursday 7 January 2027.
On a foot-passenger round trip, our readings give an outward leg on 9 September 2026 at €57.64 and a return on 21 September 2026 at €47.61, Corsica Linea in both directions, or €98.25 for the two legs.
Leaving from another port for Marseille
To reach Marseille, Propriano is the most expensive of the Corsican ports recorded for the foot passenger in a reclining seat: €57.64 at the minimum, €71.89 on average, via Corsica Linea. The cheapest at the minimum is Porto-Vecchio, at €34.62 with La Méridionale for a departure on 20 October 2026 (€46.13 on average), followed by Ajaccio at €36.95, also with La Méridionale, for a departure on 19 November 2026 (€44.08 on average). L'Île-Rousse (€55.50 at the minimum, €66.97 on average) and Bastia (€56.01 and €70.19) sit between the two, both via Corsica Linea. The ranking on averages follows almost the same order — Porto-Vecchio and Ajaccio out front, Propriano behind — but Bastia moves ahead of L'Île-Rousse there.
