A single company on the route
On Propriano–Nice, our readings of 22 August 2026 show only one company, Corsica Ferries, which every fare quoted below comes from. No codeshare arrangement is observed on this route: the price is therefore not compared between companies, but from one month to the next, from one departure date to the next and from one Corsican port to another.
September 2026 at the peak, October 2026 at the floor
For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the fare recorded settles at €45.00 in September 2026, then drops back to €26.00 in October 2026. Each month carries only one recorded departure date: minimum and average coincide there, and the October floor, €26.00, is also its average. That departure falls on 21 October 2026; the September one on 16 September 2026.
With a car and a cabin, the window covers the same two months. One adult pays €184.00 in September 2026 and €133.00 in October 2026. For two adults, the same package comes out at €221.00, then at €156.00 in October 2026. For two adults and two children with a car and a cabin, the crossing goes from €275.00 in September 2026 to €194.00 in October 2026.
The direction of the move is the same across all four profiles; its size is not. The foot passenger in a reclining seat falls back far more, proportionally, than the three motorised packages: from one month to the other, that fare comes down to roughly three fifths of the higher reading, while the car-and-cabin packages give up only about a quarter. Put another way, the bigger the basket, the less the month of departure shifts it.
The car and cabin cost more than the passenger
Across all recorded dates, the crossing starts at €26.00 for a foot passenger in a reclining seat, for an average reading of €35.50. Adding a car and a cabin lifts the entry fare to €133.00 and the average to €158.50: on each of the recorded dates, the vehicle and the berth weigh more than four times the passage on its own.
Going from one adult to two costs far less than that first step. For two, the car-and-cabin package opens at €156.00 for an average of €188.50, less than a fifth more than for one adult. The two children add a slightly taller step, around a quarter: €194.00 at the floor and €234.50 on average for two adults and two children with a car and a cabin.
The cheapest dates
For the foot passenger in a reclining seat, the cheapest date recorded is Wednesday 21 October 2026, at €26.00, ahead of Wednesday 16 September 2026 at €45.00. The ranking is identical on the three motorised packages: 21 October 2026 opens at €133.00 for one adult, €156.00 for two adults and €194.00 for two adults and two children; 16 September 2026 follows, at €184.00, €221.00 and €275.00. Both departures are operated by Corsica Ferries.
These dates fall on the same day of the week, Wednesday, and no other day appears in our readings on this route. Comparing departure days therefore has no object here: the Wednesday average, €35.50 for the foot passenger in a reclining seat, matches the average of all readings exactly. What separates the two fares is the month, not the day.
Leaving from another port for Nice
At the minimum, Propriano is the cheapest departure point for Nice in our readings. Propriano opens at €26.00 for a departure on 21 October 2026, ahead of Bastia (€32.00, on 4 September 2026), L'Île-Rousse (€33.00, on 6 September 2026), Porto-Vecchio (€37.60, on 23 September 2026) and Ajaccio (€73.00, on 25 August 2026). On average the order changes: Porto-Vecchio moves to the front at €37.60 — minimum and average coincide there — ahead of Propriano (€35.50), Bastia (€52.31), L'Île-Rousse (€55.18) and Ajaccio (€80.00). Propriano thus holds the best entry fare without holding the best average: the two readings do not point to the same quay. All of these departures are operated by Corsica Ferries.
