Bastia–Savona: what our readings show
On the Bastia–Savona route, our readings from 17 August 2026 cover departures from August to November 2026, then from February to June 2027. The cheapest month is not always the one that carries the best price, and the cheapest day on average is not always the one that holds the floor: the window reads on two levels, that of the observed minimum and that of the average of the observations.
August 2026 at the peak, November 2026 at the floor
For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, August 2026 carries the highest monthly average, €71.54, while its minimum for the month holds at €44.00. November 2026 forms the trough of the window, with €31.10 as a minimum and as an average alike: the two measures meet there, whereas they pull apart sharply in August. October 2026 follows at €40.79 on average, ahead of September 2026 at €38.01 — and it is in October that the lowest price of the whole window sits, €28.10, ahead of €28.80 in September. The reclining-seat floor of the route is therefore not in November, the lowest month on average, but in October 2026.
With a car and a cabin, September, October or November 2026 depending on the group
With a vehicle, the cheapest month on average no longer falls in the same place depending on how many travel. For one adult, a car and a cabin, November 2026 becomes the cheapest month on average, at €120.00, ahead of October 2026 at €152.36 and November 2026 at €120.00 as a minimum and as an average alike; the floor of the window, though, sits in October, at €88.00, against €87.00 in September. August 2026 tops out at €252.27 on average for a floor of €182.00; the overall average for the package comes out at €175.74.
For two adults with a car and a cabin, the lead changes month: November 2026 moves ahead, at €149.00 on average for a minimum of €114.00, by a hair over September 2026 at €181.14 (floor €116.00), then November 2026 at €149.00 as a minimum and as an average alike; August 2026 rises to €315.20, for an overall average of €213.61.
For two adults, two children, a car and a cabin, the lead goes to November 2026, at €195.00 as a minimum and as an average alike, ahead of September 2026 at €233.43 and October 2026 at €239.27; August 2026 reaches €398.27. It is September, however, that carries the floor of the package, €173.00, while the whole window comes out at €270.83 on average.
Monday or Tuesday rather than Saturday
Saturday is the dearest day whatever the package. For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, it settles at €55.57 on average against €38.21 on Monday, the lowest of the profile. Between the two, Tuesday comes out at €40.96, Wednesday at €44.21, Thursday at €45.83, Sunday at €45.59 and Friday at €49.19. With a vehicle, the trough slides by a day: Monday takes the lead on the three motorised packages, at €174.27 against €194.93 on Saturday for one adult with a car and a cabin, €207.36 against €239.57 for two adults, €257.73 against €303.43 for two adults and two children, with Monday following at €163.71, €196.36 and €247.71. Sunday climbs into the upper part of the table, at €183.82, €223.55 and €280.27 depending on the motorised package.
The cheapest dates
For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the eight best prices concentrate in September, October and the very start of November 2026, all with Corsica Ferries. Monday 19 October 2026 carries the floor, €28.10, ahead of Thursday 17 September 2026 at €28.80. Three days then share the same price, €29.00: Friday 25 September 2026, Monday 21 September 2026 and Sunday 20 September 2026. Two more sit at €30.10, Wednesday 16 September 2026 and Friday 23 October 2026, before €31.00 on Friday 18 September 2026.
For one adult with a car and a cabin, Monday 21 September 2026 leads at €87.00, ahead of Friday 23 October 2026 at €88.00 and Wednesday 9 September 2026 at €92.00. For two adults, the same three dates open the ranking, in the same order: €114.00, €116.00 then €118.00. For two adults and two children, the floor shifts to Friday 18 September 2026, at €173.00, ahead of Friday 4 September 2026 at €175.00 and Friday 25 September 2026 at €185.00. On this family package, Friday accounts for half of the eight best dates even though it is not the cheapest day on average.
On the reclining-seat profile, the best return trip recorded pairs a departure on 17 September 2026 at €28.80 with a return on 25 September 2026 at €21.03, or €49.83 for the two legs, with Corsica Ferries in both directions.
Leaving from another port for Savona
Two Corsican ports reach Savona in our readings, both served by Corsica Ferries. Bastia opens lowest, from €28.10, for a departure on 19 October 2026. L'Île-Rousse starts higher, at €49.00 for a departure on 19 August 2026, but overtakes Bastia on average, at €49.00 against €45.94. The two rankings, by minimum and by average, therefore do not point to the same port this time.
What these readings cover
These figures come from dated observations, recorded on 17 August 2026, and cover departures from August to November 2026, then from February to June 2027; December 2026, January and March 2027 are not recorded. Over that window, Corsica Ferries is the only company recorded towards Savona: there is no comparison between companies and no codeshare gap to read on this route.
