Savona–Bastia: what our readings show
On the Savona–Bastia route, our readings of 22 August 2026 bring up a single company: Corsica Ferries. For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the crossing drops to €28.10 and holds at €40.13 on average across the whole window. No comparison between companies is therefore possible here, and no codeshare gap is found: the price turns on the date, not on the company's name. With a car and a cabin, the average stands at €158.21 for one adult, €192.15 for two adults and €243.02 for two adults and two children, with respective floors of €103.00, €133.00 and €181.00.
The floor in September 2026 across all four packages
The four packages tracked put their lowest monthly average on the same month. The top, by contrast, moves with the package: April 2027 for the foot passenger, April 2027 for the three packages with a car and a cabin.
For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the average drops to €34.66 in September 2026, against €46.00 in the dearest month. The lowest entry fare of the window is not there, though: it is recorded in October 2026, at €28.10 on 13 October 2026, for a month that otherwise holds €37.70 on average. August 2026 stands at €39.63, from €30.00.
With a car and a cabin, one adult alone drops to €133.59 on average in September 2026, with a floor of €103.00 on 24 September 2026; the dearest month, April 2027, climbs to €181.00 on average. For two adults, the monthly average runs from €165.00 to €219.53, with a floor of €133.00. For two adults, two children, a car and a cabin, it runs from €212.78 to €276.60, the floor falling to €181.00 on 3 September 2026. From one package to the next, the month of departure weighs more than the day chosen.
What these readings cover
The readings cover August, September and October 2026, then pick up again in February, April, May and June 2027. November and December 2026, January and March 2027 do not appear in our data for this route: we do not comment on them. The gaps described above are a reading of that window, not of an annual cycle.
Per Corsica Ferries, the route runs year-round, daily in high season and at several departures a week the rest of the time, by day as by night; the night crossings leave in the early evening for an arrival in Bastia the next morning, and the company asks for a presence 30 minutes before departure on foot, one hour with a vehicle. These details come from the company. Our own readings cover the prices only.
Thursday lowest on foot, Thursday with a car
For the foot passenger in a reclining seat, Wednesday comes out lowest, at €36.41 on average, Thursday just behind at €34.29. Then come Tuesday at €37.40 and Monday at €38.72, then Friday at €41.57 and Saturday at €43.38. The top of the scale is Sunday, €45.11.
With a car and a cabin, Thursday takes the bottom of the scale and Sunday the top. One adult alone pays €138.60 on average on Thursday, then €156.25 on Wednesday, €162.36 on Saturday, €159.27 on Tuesday, €158.17 on Friday and €166.56 on Monday; Sunday climbs to €163.27. For two adults, the order barely moves: €169.10 on Thursday, €187.42 on Wednesday, €191.73 on Tuesday, €198.86 on Saturday, €192.17 on Friday, €202.56 on Monday and €199.07 on Sunday.
For two adults and two children, the order no longer moves at all: €215.50 on Thursday, €236.42 on Wednesday, €241.36 on Tuesday, €251.71 on Saturday, €243.94 on Friday, €252.33 on Monday and €253.07 on Sunday. Sunday is the dearest day of all four packages. Thursday holds the bottom of the three packages with a vehicle, while the foot passenger prefers Wednesday, by very little.
