Moby Lines alone on the reclining seat and the cabin
On Genoa–Bastia, our readings of 14 September 2026 bring up two companies, but not on the same products. The reclining seat and the car-plus-cabin packages are recorded only with Moby Lines. For a foot passenger in a reclining seat, the average stands at €47.64, from €40.75. With a car and a cabin, one adult works out at €97.35 on average, from €90.46; two adults at €119.10, from €112.21; two adults and two children at €189.49, from €175.71. According to Moby Lines, the crossing runs by day, in 5 hours to 5 hours 30 minutes, with boarding one hour before departure on foot and two hours with a vehicle.
On deck, the floor and the average change hands
The deck fare, with no cabin or reserved reclining seat, is sold by two companies on this route: Cors'Express and Moby Lines. According to Cors'Express, this is a fast daytime service, about 3 hours 30 minutes, open to foot passengers only, with no cabin, on a non-daily schedule that varies by season — a product distinct from the reclining seat and cabin described above.
For a single adult on deck, Moby Lines holds the floor, from €36.75, but stands at €42.75 on average. Cors'Express starts higher, at €39.99, for a lower average, €40.62: the best single fare and the best average level do not point to the same company. The monthly minimum on deck drops to €36.75 in September 2026, for a €41.37 average; in October 2026 the average climbs to €42.39, its high point of the window, before November and December 2026 settle at €39.99, floor and average alike.
The same ranking recurs at the floor across the larger compositions, but the gap closes as the group grows. For two adults, Moby Lines starts at €58.50 for €65.39 on average, against €81.39 on average at Cors'Express, from €79.98. For two adults and one child, €85.25 and €94.25 on average at Moby Lines, against €101.56 on average at Cors'Express, from €99.98. For two adults and two children, the two averages all but meet: €112.00 and €124.00 on average at Moby Lines against €121.87 on average at Cors'Express, from €119.98. The average saving between comparable offers therefore falls back from 25.1% for two adults to 13.5% for two adults and two children, even as the largest gap recorded on a single date reaches €62.98 on that last composition.
Across the days of the week tracked for deck, Sunday comes out lowest, at €39.37 on average, ahead of Tuesday and Thursday, level at €39.99, then Friday at €40.74 and Saturday at €43.37; Monday closes the ranking at €45.08.
Reclining seat and cabin: a window narrowed to September 2026
The reclining seat and the three car-plus-cabin packages cover departures in September 2026 only. For the foot passenger in a reclining seat, the month stands at €47.64 on average, for a floor of €40.75 recorded on 25 September 2026.
With a car and a cabin, the same month gives €97.35 on average for one adult, from €90.46 on 25 September 2026. For two adults, the average reaches €119.10, from €112.21; for two adults and two children, €189.49 on average, from €175.71. Across these four packages, recorded with Moby Lines alone, the month therefore reads at the floor rather than at the average: it is the date chosen within the month, not the month itself, that makes the difference.
Friday holds the bottom across the four packages
Friday is the best day across the four packages recorded with Moby Lines. For the foot passenger, it comes out at €43.25 on average, ahead of Sunday at €46.75, then Saturday at €50.75, with Monday closing at €49.08. With a car and a cabin, the gap widens: for one adult, €92.96 on Friday against €100.46 on Saturday; for two adults, €114.71 against €122.21; for two adults and two children, €180.71 against €195.71. Sunday sits in between: €96.46 for a motorised adult, €118.21 for two adults, €187.71 for the family. Monday stays high: €98.79, €120.54 and €192.38 depending on the composition. Our readings cover only these four days of the week for these packages.

For two adults and two children, the same shape: €175.71 on Friday 25 September 2026, then €179.71 and €185.71. The three car-plus-cabin packages point to the same leading departure, 25 September 2026, while the reclining seat touches its floor on 25 September 2026. Every one of these low dates falls in September 2026.
On a round trip, the best foot-passenger pairing recorded with Moby Lines combines an outward leg on 20 September 2026 at €42.75 and a return leg on 21 September 2026 at €46.88, for €89.63 in total.
Leaving from another port for Bastia
Genoa is not the cheapest departure for reaching Bastia. At the minimum, Savona opens at €26.10 via Corsica Ferries for a departure recorded on 17 September 2026, ahead of Nice at €26.26, Livorno at €29.10 and Toulon at €23.26, all with Corsica Ferries. Genoa follows at €40.75 via Moby Lines, ahead of Sète at €41.00 and Marseille at €53.37 via Corsica Linea. Piombino no longer appears in this ranking: as of this reading, no departure to Bastia is recorded there. On average, the order shifts: Nice leads at €38.32, ahead of Toulon at €41.39 and Livorno at €42.83, then Sète at €41.00 and Savona at €48.42; Genoa comes out at €47.64, ahead of Marseille at €58.48. Savona, first on the minimum, holds only fifth place on the averages, while Nice, second on the minimum, takes the lead on the average.
What these readings cover
The reclining seat and the car-plus-cabin packages are covered on September 2026 departures only, every crossing recorded with Moby Lines; the deck fare, for its part, runs from September to December 2026 and is split between Cors'Express and Moby Lines. No departure before September 2026 appears there. On deck, the bottom of the window reads in November and December 2026, at €39.99; on the reclining seat and the cabin it reads by date, from €40.75 for a foot passenger in a reclining seat and from €90.46 with a car and a cabin.
